Handbound Journal
This journal has been lovingly handcrafted, using unique papers, thread, beads and close listening to what the materials want to become. There are several pages of drawing paper and brown packing paper for the book block and the paper has been doubled over so the pages can accept paint and different types of medium. You could even stitch the pages if you like and the stitches wouldn't show up on the next page unless you wanted them to by stitching through both surfaces. The book itself measure approximately 7x7. Please keep in mind that this measurement is not the paper surface, since some of the surface gets lost in the binding. The journal lies flay open on the first page. Keep in mind that as you use the pages, it will not continue to lie flat. The cord used to bind the spine adds an area of interest in being glittery gold and thick. This is a fun book and will be extra fun to find creative ways to fill the pages!!
